On this episode we are once again joined by Samantha Angeliq from Reset Race Podcast, and we discuss poverty in America.
The discussion carries us through various issues of poverty including the concepts of the Working Poor and the Working Homeless, through to how broken the American Dream is, and into some structural changes necessary to begin to address Poverty, including UBI, a Federal Jobs Guarantee and possible nationalization of the Labor Force to address the inability of capitalism to provide outcomes that benefit the people.
The episode is designed to provoke thought about what could be done to address the pernicious and chronic issues associated with poverty in a land of plenty.
